Community workshop participants learning practical life skills together

Life Skills Support

Practical workshops that equip people with the tools they need to build lasting independence.

The Program

Knowledge Is the Foundation of Freedom

Many of the systems people navigate daily — banking, healthcare, employment, housing — were never explicitly taught to people transitioning out of hardship. Our Life Skills Support program fills that gap with practical, judgment-free workshops designed around what our community actually needs.

Our workshops are led by people who understand the terrain. Sessions are small, interactive, and focused on real application — not lectures. You leave with tools you can use immediately.

All workshops are free to attend and offered on a rolling basis. You can join any session without completing a prior one — each is designed to stand alone.

Our Approach

Learning in Community

We deliberately keep workshops small so everyone has space to ask questions, share experiences, and learn from one another. There is no shame in not knowing — our facilitators create a safe, inclusive space where curiosity is celebrated.

Many participants tell us the relationships they build with fellow workshop attendees are just as valuable as the skills themselves. Community is the curriculum too.
