Mentorship Program
Compassionate, consistent guidance for people navigating life's hardest transitions.
You Don't Have to Figure It Out Alone
Our mentorship program pairs individuals with trained, compassionate guides who understand what it means to rebuild. Mentors are community members who have navigated their own challenges and are committed to walking alongside others on their journey.
We believe mentorship is about more than advice — it’s about presence. Having someone who shows up consistently, listens without judgment, and celebrates every step forward can change the trajectory of a person’s life.
Whether you need help navigating a system, staying accountable to a goal, or simply having someone in your corner, our mentors are here.
How It Works
Intake & Matching
We start with a conversation to understand your goals, strengths, and challenges. You're then matched with a mentor whose background and experience align with your needs.
Goal Setting
Together with your mentor, you'll create a personalized roadmap — short-term milestones and long-term goals that are meaningful and achievable.
Regular Sessions
Meet one-on-one or in small groups on a consistent schedule. Sessions can be in-person, by phone, or video — whatever works best for you.
Ongoing Support
Beyond scheduled sessions, your mentor is a trusted point of contact for encouragement, accountability check-ins, and navigating unexpected challenges.
Who Is This For?
Our mentorship program is open to any adult in San Diego County who is working toward greater stability and self-sufficiency. We especially serve:
- Adults transitioning out of homelessness or instability
- Individuals re-entering the workforce after a gap
- People recovering from substance use or incarceration
- Young adults aging out of foster care
- Disabled kids and adults seeking guidance and support
- Anyone who needs a consistent, trusted guide in their corner
